LOS ANGELES BASED ETHIOPIAN SPECIALTY COFFEE PRODUCER AND EXPORTER ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF “RAIN FOREST COFFEE”

LOS ANGELES, CA, April 14, 2011:  Oromia Kaffa, Inc., a Los Angeles, California based Ethiopian specialty coffee grower and exporter; is preparing a special harvest of wild rain forest coffee for global export. To date, the “Rain Forest” Arabica green coffee beans have very rarely been available for global export and have been exclusively traded locally because of the beans’ outstanding flavor notes, unique qualities and natural taste. 

Originating in Ethiopia, coffee is known as “Ethiopia’s gift to the world”, where some of the most prized Arabica coffee beans are grown. Oromia Kaffa, Inc. trades other Ethiopian Trademark Fine Specialty Grade Gourmet Coffee Beans which include: Harar, Sidamo and Yirgacheffe. All Oromia Kaffa, Inc. brand green coffee beans are organically grown, and in compliance with Fair Trade, and Bird-Friendly environmental considerations. 

As part of the “Rain Forest” Coffee launch, Oromia Kaffa, Inc. is scheduled to participate in the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) 23^rd Annual Specialty Coffee Event (Expo), at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston Texas, from Thursday 28^th April through Sunday 1^st May.  The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) is the world’s coffee authority and largest coffee trade association with nearly 3,000 member companies.
