Ethiopian Specialty Coffee Harvest


Oromia Kaffa Inc.  is preparing for an October 2011 Harvest of 100% Arabica Wild Rain Forest Green Coffee Beans for global export. To date, these "Rain Forest" Arabica green coffee beans have very rarely been available for global export and have been exclusively traded locally because of the beans' outstanding flavor notes, unique qualities and natural taste. Currently, we are accepting orders for our 100% Arabica Pure Origin Specialty Grade Coffee Beans. Upon receipt of your ICPO (Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order), your quantity of coffee beans will be reserved and prepared for December 2011 / January 2012 shipment and delivery.


Yirgcheffe


Yirgacheffe is a small town located in the Sidamo region in the Gedeo Zone of Southern Nations of Ethiopia. It is considered to be the birthplace of coffee. The streets of Yirgacheffe are occupied by countless shoppers and merchants busily trading in the many small shops aligning the roads. This ares is not for the faint-of- heart, the people are extremely poor and many are physically challenged. However, one should be comforted by the fact that they are in the midst of the some of the finest coffees. 


Coffee's produced by our farmers have a bright, medium to light bodied coffee with berry undertones, distinct floral tones in the aroma, an intense and complex flavor that is clean and flowery, and a vibrant finish.

Sidamo


The Guji zone is part of the very large Oromiya (Oromia) national state in southern Ethiopia. The people are known as Gujii Oromo, and coffee farming has been a core part of the culture in the highland areas. Our coffees are grown in Shakiso (aka The Golden State) because gold has been extraction takes place by mining from the Awata River, which flows between Shakiso and Megado. With elevations of 5591 ft in a dense forested area are perfect for coffee these coffee. 


Our resident agent heads a local cooperative which produces our fine Sidamo coffee beans that has distinct fruity cup flavors. These coffee can be also from the dry-process Guji lots, which many consider to have more robust flavor.
